Proposal
The first phase of this proposal was about learning what the client needed/wanted from the website. I prepared a questionnaire and I divided it into three distinct sections, one referring to the website as it stood (“Do you feel anything is missing from your current website?”), one referring to building the foundations of the website moving forward (“What do you want visitors to be able to do on your website?”), and one referring to the project as a whole, what they stand for, and what needs to be incorporated into the website (“Who is your target audience?”). Once that was done, I was able to start building my proposal by those rules.

Design and mood
Though it all changed a lot in the final product, I was very happy with how this came together. Since the Southeastern Diversity Project wanted their website to be friendly, safe, and appeal to younger audiences, I added a splash of color. Each slide tests a different rainbow color palette.

XD Mockups
As part of the proposal, I made a few practice pages in Adobe XD- two different iterations of the homepage and the About Us page to further portray my vision for the final product and have it visible and ready for approval by the client.
Website
Once the proposal got approved, I moved to the client's chosen website builder of Wix and started rebuilding and editing the content there. Below are some screenshots of how the homepage changed. View the whole website here!
