Client Wants
When I first met my client, I asked her a set of questions to gauge what she was looking for in a website. Shortly afterwards, I made these example pages to ensure that she and I were on the same page, and to see what she likes/didn't like and what I could make more fitting of her vision going forward. For example, the last slide here is all potential logos that we ended up passing on in favor of simply her signature.

Client nEeds
I built each page of the website keeping in mind the client's aesthetic requests while still including everything she needed for it to function- a shop, link to her newsletter, display of her resume, and more, getting her feedback intermittently. This also meant balancing the limitations of the platform I was building in, Squarespace, with the actions that I needed it to perform. In this process, I went through dozens of potential layouts, edited images, and more. Below, see comparison images of before/after my formatting.
